Mark Beardsworth
Executive Secretary-Treasurer, Millwright Regional Council.
"Today I witnessed the positive impact that the Millwright Regional Council (MRC) is having in the lives of Alderville First Nation's newly minted pre-Millwright/apprentices with my formal introduction to Andy Forsyth, MRC Business Consultant. Today in our successful Skilled Trades Fair held at Alderville First Nation I had the opportunity to discuss with Andy the successful intake for our young people and better understand the commitment by MRC and the opportunities that lie ahead for our people through its mission to uphold this important historical skilled trade."

The Millwright Regional Council has been successfully recruiting millwright apprentices from many indigenous communities throughout Ontario. The community support and the support of our contractor and owner partners has been critical in the success of our Introduction to Millwrighting program (ITM). We are looking forward to many more successful partnerships, working together we can and we are making a difference.
