Millwright Regional Council Announces Drew Chittenden as President
Toronto, March 6 – The Millwright Regional Council (MRC) is pleased to announce that Drew Chittenden has been appointed as President. With extensive industry experience and a deep commitment to the Council’s mission, Drew will provide strong leadership and continuity as the MRC moves forward.
Drew’s extensive experience and proven leadership make him the right choice to lead the Council as President. Having previously served as Vice President, he brings a deep understanding of the Council’s operations and strategic goals, ensuring a seamless transition into this role. This role is critical in ensuring the Council’s initiatives are executed effectively, providing leadership oversight and operational continuity.
Throughout his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening the Council’s initiatives, supporting workforce development, and enhancing industry relations. His leadership has helped navigate key negotiations, expand opportunities for millwrights, and reinforce the Council’s role as a trusted partner in the industry.

As President, Drew will focus on providing leadership while working closely with the Executive Secretary-Treasurer to uphold the MRC’s mission. He will also collaborate with staff to build on the strong foundation established by his predecessor and continue advancing the Council’s objectives. His dedication to millwrights and the industry will ensure that the Council remains a strong advocate for its members and continues to drive progress.
The MRC remains committed to supporting millwrights and ensuring the organization’s continued success under Drew’s leadership. A transition plan for appointing a new Vice President will be announced at a later date to ensure continued leadership stability and strategic direction.
