Dan Steel Promoted to Field Organizer for the Millwright Regional Council

The Millwright Regional Council (MRC) is pleased to announce that Brother Dan Steel has been promoted to the role of MRC Field Organizer.

Dan has demonstrated a strong commitment to the values of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and the Millwright Regional Council through his dedication to members, professionalism in the field, and ability to build meaningful relationships across our jurisdictions. Throughout his time with the organization, he has earned respect through a practical, member-focused approach and a clear commitment to strengthening opportunities for UBC Millwrights.

In his new role as MRC Field Organizer, Dan will support the Council’s continued efforts to expand market presence, strengthen local organizing initiatives, and create sustainable opportunities for members across Canada. Working closely with Local leadership, contractors, and industry partners, he will play an important role in identifying growth opportunities, supporting workforce development, and ensuring the strength of our union remains rooted in the field.

Dan’s promotion reflects the MRC’s continued investment in developing leaders from within our membership and positioning experienced representatives where they can make the greatest impact. Dan’s understanding of our trade, combined with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset, will help support the Council’s long-term strategic priorities.
