The Millwright Regional Council Welcomes Business Representative Adam Buttazzoni

The Millwright Regional Council is pleased to announce that Adam Buttazzoni has been appointed as the Business Representative for UBC Millwright Local 1425 Sudbury.
Adam has more than 17 years of millwright experience, primarily in the mining sector, with notable projects including maintaining Carbonyl Reactors at the Nickel Refinery, building SAG and ball mills at Detour Lake Gold, and extensive furnace and converter work. A proud Sudbury native, Adam has spent his career contributing to the industrial growth of northeastern Ontario.
Having served as interim Business Representative for Local 1425, Adam has focused on building stronger unity among members and learning new perspectives on union operations. In his new role, he will continue to organize new companies, create more work opportunities, and provide training resources to help members grow.
“I work for the members” Adam says. “When our members grow, our Local grows, and the MRC grows.”
Outside of work, Adam enjoys hockey, golf, and spending time with his family – including his daughter, Ginger.
Please join us in congratulating Adam as he takes on this important role supporting the MRC and the Local 1425 members.
