Nole Coutrouzas Promoted to Business Manager of UBC Millwright Local 1916 Hamilton

The Millwright Regional Council is pleased to congratulate Brother Nole Coutrouzas on his appointment as Business Manager of Local 1916. A member since 2007, Nole has worked with a clear goal to work with his hands and his mind, and to build a career that offered variety across industries.
Nole’s leadership path began early. In 2012, Nole was elected as a Trustee on the Local Executive Board, where he served three terms. In 2014, he began instructing part-time, contributing directly to the development of the next generation of millwrights. His dedication to training and skills development led to his hiring in February 2020 as Local 1916’s first full-time Training Coordinator and Instructor. In 2022, he was elected Vice President, and later that same year stepped into the role of Business Representative, further expanding his responsibilities on behalf of the membership.
As Business Manager, Nole’s focus is clear: to continue representing and growing the membership of UBC Millwright Local 1916 Hamilton while contributing to the strength and reach of the Millwright Regional Council as a whole. His goal is to ensure UBC Millwrights remain positioned to compete, lead, and continue gaining market share across industries.
Outside of work, Nole values time with his family above all else. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter, staying active through weekly hockey, and walking the golf course whenever he gets the chance.
We congratulate Brother Nole Coutrouzas on this well-earned promotion and look forward to his leadership as Business Manager of UBC Millwright Local 1916 Hamilton.
