Congratulations Brother Ed Spence on Your Retirement

Toronto, ON. – Congratulations to Brother Ed Spence, Millwright Regional Council on your successful retirement, after more than 4 years serving as Executive Secretary-Treasurer, and a remarkable 32-year career as a proud millwright Union leader, and worker advocate.

Brother Spence took office as MRCO Business Representative for UBC Millwright Local 2309 in April 2002, his ability to adapt to change quickly promoted him to Business Manager in April 2005.

Brother Spence oversaw operations at Local 2309 spanning more than 12 years from 2005 to 2017, before taking the lead role as Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Millwright Regional Council June 2017, and later elected February 2018 at the MRCO Annual General Meeting.

The Millwright Regional Council, our Executive, and our Membership wish to express our sincere appreciation for the leadership, dedication, and commitment you have extended to us for all these years.
